In May 2026, we were delighted to renew our partnership with Compton Verney as the drinks supplier for weddings and events.
As a team that genuinely loves creating memorable guest experiences through great drinks, it is a venue that feels like a natural fit for Sip ‘n’ Swig. An Art Gallery in a Mansion, set within 120 acres of inspired parkland, with a private chapel and stunning grounds, Compton Verney offers couples a wedding venue completely different from the ordinary. Whether you’re planning an intimate celebration or a large wedding day, every event has the opportunity to feel unique.
One of the things we love most about working at Compton Verney is that no two weddings ever feel the same. This May alone, we welcomed three completely different couples. Each brought their own personality, styling, food choices, entertainment and drinks selections to the venue, creating three unforgettable celebrations.
Jack & Libby: An Italian-Inspired Celebration
Jack and Libby’s wedding brought a relaxed Italian feel to Compton Verney.
The ceremony took place in the venue’s beautifully restored chapel before guests made their way onto the West Lawn for drinks and photographs. The sunshine certainly helped set the tone for the day. Guests were welcomed with a choice of Aperol Spritz or Limoncello Spritz, of course alcoholic or non. This immediately set the atmosphere as family and friends gathered on the lawn.
Inside the Adam Hall, the room was transformed with long banquet-style tables that perfectly suited the couple’s vision. The space felt bright, relaxed and effortlessly elegant, with thoughtful styling details that subtly nodded to their Italian theme.
When it was time for the newlyweds to enter the room, guests greeted them with a sea of waving napkins, creating one of those moments that instantly lifts the energy in the room.

Anthony’s Catering served generous sharing platters throughout the wedding breakfast, alongside the couple’s own wines, water service and toast drinks.
Behind the bar, we continued the Italian influence with a selection of premium Italian gins and a bespoke cocktail menu featuring Raspberry Collins, Gin Bramble and Espresso Martini’s.
As the evening arrived, the Adam Hall transformed once again, this time into a lively party space with live music, dancing and plenty of visits to the bar.
Manpreet & Sarah: A Celebration Full of Energy and Culture
Manpreet and Sarah’s wedding brought together modern elegance with meaningful cultural touches.
The styling in the Adam Hall felt rich, atmospheric and luxurious. Deep floral arrangements and darker colour palettes created a warm, dramatic setting that felt both sophisticated and welcoming.
Following their ceremony in the chapel, guests enjoyed a drinks reception with alcoholic and non-alcoholic fizz while the couple spent time with family and captured photographs in the courtyard. Canapés from Chana Catering kept guests fuelled before everyone made their way through the galleries and into the Adam Hall.
Round tables filled the room, each place setting complete with a personalised tambourine waiting for guests. The couple’s entrance is something we will not forget in a hurry. As they entered the room, every guest joined in by shaking their tambourines. The sound echoed around the Adam Hall and created one of those goosebump moments that makes weddings so special.
Chana Catering then served a fantastic meal that guests were still talking about later in the evening.
As night fell, we set up an Espresso Martini Bar in the courtyard while guests gathered outside ahead of a fire performance. The espresso martinis proved incredibly popular and generated some of the best compliments we’ve received all season.
Their bespoke cocktail menu featured Raspberry Collins, Passionfruit Martini, Whisky Sour and Margarita’s.
With live music, dhol drummers and a packed dance floor, the celebrations continued into the evening.
Alex & Sylvia: Bringing Family Together From Around the World
Our third wedding of the month belonged to Alex and Sylvia.
With family and friends travelling from overseas, their wedding was a wonderful example of how Compton Verney can bring people together from all corners of the world.
Alex and Sylvia held their ceremony in the chapel before making use of the venue’s stunning grounds for photographs and time with their guests.
The Adam Hall was laid out with round tables and styled with elegant table décor, creating a fresh and timeless look that complemented the natural light that floods the room through its large windows.
Guests were welcomed on to the lawn with another day of gorgeous weather. They enjoyed Raspberry Collins welcome drinks amongst Shakespeare Kitchen canapés.
Their cocktail menu featured their own creation from our cocktail tastings – a Chapmans Spicy Daiquiri. Another example of us using a local supplier to bring something unique to their menu. They also served Espresso Martini, Whiskey Sour and Margaritas.
Why We Love Working at Compton Verney
As a wedding drinks supplier, we are fortunate enough to work at some incredible venues across the Midlands. Compton Verney continues to stand out because it offers couples so much flexibility.
You have the beauty of a private chapel for your ceremony, stunning outdoor spaces for drinks receptions, the grandeur of the Adam Hall for your wedding breakfast, with acres of grounds for unforgettable photographs. Most importantly, it allows every couple to put their own stamp on the day.
For us, that means creating drinks experiences that feel personal. Whether that’s an Italian-inspired spritz reception, a courtyard espresso martini bar, premium draught beer, bespoke cocktails or carefully selected wines, we work with couples to ensure the drinks feel like part of the celebration rather than simply something served from behind a bar.
After renewing our partnership with Compton Verney this year, these three weddings were a perfect reminder of why we love being part of the team here.
Three weddings.
Three completely different stories.
Three unforgettable celebrations.
If you’re planning your wedding at Compton Verney and would like to discuss drinks, we’d love to hear your ideas and help bring them to life!
